The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This position involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting childhood development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with children aged 2-5 years, helping them develop essential skills through play-based learning and structured activities. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students. Monitor and assess children’s progress in their developmental milestones and provide feedback to parents or guardians. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Engage with children in daily activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, behavior, and developmental progress. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Experience Previous experience in daycare or toddler care settings is preferred. Familiarity with childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with children. Knowledge of classroom management techniques to effectively educate young learners.
