In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. Your primary focus will be on supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and individualized attention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Provide individualized care and attention to each child, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children’s progress and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children’s development, behavior, and progress. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure safety and engagement. Assist in the planning and execution of special events or programs related to early childhood education. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Qualifications Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Background in caregiving roles such as nannying or infant/toddler care is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not required at the time of application.
