Assistant Childcare Director Southeastern Esthetics Institute Elgin, SC 29045 Job Summary Join our FAMLY in Nova Academy! The Child Care Center Assistant Director plays a vital role in supporting the overall management and operation of the center. This position involves working closely with the Director to ensure a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The Assistant Director will assist in implementing educational programs, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Position Hours Monday-Thursday 1pm-9pm and Friday 10am-6pm Duties Assist the Center Director in daily operations and management of the child care center. Support staff in developing and implementing age-appropriate educational programs. Supervise and mentor teaching staff to ensure high-quality care and education. Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and accreditation standards. Collaborate with parents and guardians to promote children’s development and well-being. Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and program effectiveness. Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff performance. Manage classroom environments to ensure they are safe, clean, and conducive to learning. Qualifications Experience working with students in an educational setting is required. Background in education administration or related field is preferred. Strong ability to educate and inspire both children and staff. A degree from a University or higher education institution related to early childhood education or child development is highly desirable. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
