We are seeking passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Child Care Assistant Teachers to join our team. This role involves working closely with our lead teacher to create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for 1-3 year old children.
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our dynamic childcare team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will help provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for toddlers, ensuring their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities and lessons for children aged 1-3 years. Help create a warm, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment. Support children in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and basic cognitive concepts. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other daily routines. Implement age-appropriate activities and provide individualized attention to support developmental milestones. Monitor and document each child’s progress and behavior. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress, needs, and any concerns. Assist with diapering, toileting, and other personal care routines. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred. Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a licensed daycare or preschool setting. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements.
