Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our Early Head Start program. This role focuses on providing high-quality care and education for young children aged 8 weeks to 3 years , supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Programming:
✔ Plan and implement daily learning activities that foster development ✔ Conduct assessments and share progress with families
Classroom Management:
✔Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment ✔Ensure daily routines and activities are developmentally appropriate
Family Engagement:
✔Strengthen parent-child relationships through regular communication ✔ Encourage family participation in learning and community activities
Qualifications:
Required:
Child Development Associate (CDA)
Credential Preferred:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Experience as an Infant/Toddler Teacher (Creative Curriculum experience is a plus!) Valid Adult/Pediatric
CPR/FA/AED
Certification Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs , kneel, bend, and sit on the floor Ability to manage family crises and maintain professional boundaries Familiarity with ProCare, GoEngage, Teaching Strategies, ASQ Online, HELP, and HSELOF databases (preferred) Ready to Make a Difference?
