Preschool Teacher Kingdom Kids Child Development Center 7004 Brookfield Rd, Columbia, SC 29223 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, social skills, and overall childhood development while ensuring classroom management and safety. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Educate children in various subjects, focusing on literacy education, social skills, and emotional development. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess each child’s progress. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative educational atmosphere. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while managing behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in preschool education. Requirements Experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. A passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment. Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not required at the time of hiring.
