Toddler Teacher (Urgently Hiring) Little Steps Columbia Columbia, SC 29205 Summary •Must Have at least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility. You will not be considered for the position if you do not meet the experience•We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children. This role involves educating and providing excellent care for our two-year-old toddlers. Implementing curriculum, and engaging students in meaningful learning experiences. The Teacher will play a crucial role in the development of each child’s social, emotional, and academic skills. Duties Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote child development in areas such as physical education, math, and language skills Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through positive interactions and guidance Monitor and assess each child’s progress and communicate with parents or guardians regularly Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning Ensure the well-being and welfare of all children in your care Requirements Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check Nice To Haves Degree in Early Childcare Teaching Classroom Management Benefits Paid time off Weekly Pay ECD101
