This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development and possess the skills necessary to foster a positive learning experience while ensuring the well-being of each child in their care. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare setting. Monitor children’s behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper hygiene practices during feeding times. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficient in First Aid and CPR certification is preferred. Experience in caregiving or previous roles in daycare settings is highly desirable. Strong ability to educate children through creative play, structured activities, and hands-on learning experiences. Familiarity with babysitting techniques for various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Knowledge of classroom management strategies to effectively handle diverse behaviors among children. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for success in this role.
