Teacher-Toddler or Preschool Sweet Peas Academy LLC 705 Belmont Avenue, Shelbyville, TN 37160 ## Overview We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for young learners. ## Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Plan and conduct activities that promote physical, mental, and social development, such as arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children
- Monitor and assess students’ progress to provide feedback to parents and support individual learning needs
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and enriching educational experience ## Requirements
- High School Diploma l or GED preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development, curriculum development, and lesson planning
- Experience in behavior management and early intervention techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Previous experience in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting is a plus
- 18 years of age
