We strive to create and promote these strong partnerships with families. Duties We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (6 weeks-1 yrs) to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. As a Generation Changers Academy, you will play a crucial role in the development of our students, guiding them through their early educational journey while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth. We have both full and part time shift options! Example Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration. Maintain accurate daily records of student performance and behavior. Organize classroom activities that promote math skills, literacy, creativity, and social interaction. Requirements Caring for a classroom of children either with a co-teacher or without (solo- lead teacher). Providing the curriculum offered to the children in your classroom Adhere to schedule and rules set forth by state of TN and DHS regarding childcare and regulated programs Communication will be of most importance among families, children, and other staff and administration. Keeping accurate training yearly and completed new requirements as needed by St. of TN Cleanliness, organization, positive attitude and disposition are musts.
