You would be assisting the lead teacher in a 3 & 4 year old classroom. Duties Assisting lead teacher in monitoring students for safety, helping with crafts & activities etc. Being a good example for younger students with an energetic and positive attitude. Follow state regulations directed by Camp Director Be on time and willing to work hard while you are on shift! Requirements Experience working with young children is essential. Understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Skills in tutoring, babysitting, and behavior management are highly valued. Certification in First Aid is preferred. Ability to educate effectively while managing a classroom environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, and colleagues. Must be 21+ to work with Pre-K Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle to get to/from work $20.00 per hour. Afternoon shift 1:30-4:30 during the Summer. Ability to pick up additional hours if wanted.
