We are seeking 1-2 passionate and dedicated Child Care Teachers to help at our small center. This teacher will join 1-2 others to care for a small group of children at our Early Learning Center on the Campus of The Momentum Network . The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. You will play a crucial role in guiding children through their early educational experiences while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique needs and learning styles. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all children, including those with disabilities or special needs. Experience Previous experience in preschool settings, daycare facilities, or as a nanny is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to educate children effectively. Experience in toddler care or early childhood education is highly desirable. Certification in First Aid and CPR is beneficial.
