The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This position involves working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, focusing on their development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development and prepare children for future educational endeavors. Duties Create and implement lesson plans that align with developmental milestones for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage children in educational activities that promote learning through play, including arts and crafts, music, and storytelling. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Observe and assess children’s progress in various developmental areas, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive teaching approach within the daycare or preschool setting. Qualifications Experience in child care settings such as daycare centers or preschools is preferred. Skills in toddler care, infant care, special education, or behavior management are highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus but not required upon hiring.
