The teacher’s job involves: Creating a safe and nurturing environment : Toddlers and young preschoolers need a space that feels secure and stimulating. The teacher ensures that the environment is safe, engaging, and appropriate for their developmental stage. Encouraging developmental milestones : This includes fostering early language skills, motor skills, and social interactions through activities like singing, reading, simple puzzles, and basic games. Supporting emotional development : Toddlers and young preschoolers are learning to express and manage emotions. The teacher helps them navigate feelings like frustration, joy, or fear while teaching social skills such as sharing and taking turns.
