Start Date:
July 1, 2025 We are looking for a passionate Montessori Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. If you’re committed to nurturing children’s growth through hands-on learning and authentic Montessori principles, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do Lead a Montessori classroom using approved methods and materials Create and rotate engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons Maintain a clean, organized, and child-centered classroom environment Track and report student progress (attendance, academics, behavior, and parent communication) Hold two parent-teacher conferences per year and prepare two written progress reports per child Care for classroom plants and animals Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Collaborate with the Director, Assistant Guides, and families to support each child’s development Follow all TN Department of Education and school policies What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree (required) 21 years or older (TN DOE requirement) Montessori Certification or willingness to learn Montessori pedagogy CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Experience working in early childhood or preschool settings Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills Ability to lift and care for young children safely Must pass background check and screening requirements Why You’ll Love Working Here 50% tuition discount per child Paid Montessori Certification (if needed) 96 hours of PTO for full-time employees Professional development & on-the-job training Supportive team environment Annual merit raises and growth opportunities 12-month pay schedule Health, dental, and vision insurance options Academic calendar breaks off throughout the year
