The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and possess the skills necessary to assist in curriculum development, classroom management, and individualized instruction. This role is essential in helping students thrive academically and socially, particularly in preschool settings. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities. Support the development of curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Foster a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to learning. Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly those with special education needs. Facilitate literacy education through guided reading sessions and interactive activities. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs. Utilize American Sign Language as needed to support communication with hearing-impaired students. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of Montessori methods. Requirements A background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not required. Experience working in preschool or early childhood settings is highly desirable but not required. Familiarity with special education practices and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and families. Knowledge of literacy education strategies to support reading development among young learners. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Experience or training in American Sign Language is a plus but not mandatory.
