Childcare Educator Growing Tree Inc. 205 Spring Street, White House, TN 37188 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to support their development and well-being. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting positive behavior. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development. Provide nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene. Manage children’s behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary. Foster a sense of community by encouraging social interactions among children. Skills Experience in caregiving roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning. Proficiency in behavior management techniques to handle various situations effectively. Familiarity with DHS rules and regulations is a plus. Experience working in classrooms or daycare settings is beneficial. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required at the time of application. Strong communication skills to educate children and engage with parents effectively.
