Mother’s Day Out Teacher Greenbrier First Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out Greenbrier, TN 37073 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mother’s Day Out Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, focusing on their development and learning through play and structured activities. This role involves working with toddlers in a childcare program, utilizing Christian principles along with early intervention strategies to foster growth and learning.

  • We are a Tuesday/Thursday, 9-2pm program and we follow the Robertson County School Calendar.
  • CPR/First Aid certification will be provided.
  • Teacher’s children attending the program-tuition will be waived.

Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of toddlers. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive educational experience. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their development. Utilize early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that promotes active learning. Collaborate with other educators in curriculum development to enhance educational offerings. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong knowledge of toddler care principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children and families. Familiarity with early intervention strategies to support diverse learners. Proficient in curriculum development tailored to young children’s needs. Ability to create engaging faith-based activities. Experience working in daycare or private school settings is advantageous. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
