Job Description

Daycare Teacher Meant To Be Loved Learning Center Murfreesboro, TN 37130 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong understanding of childhood development. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children aged infants to toddlers. Duties Teach and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support each child’s individual needs. Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while managing supplies and resources effectively. Collaborate with other educators to promote a cohesive learning experience across different age groups. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as needed. Support children with disabilities or special needs through tailored activities and individualized attention. Qualifications No previous experience working with children in a daycare required, but preferred. Once hired, required to complete state childhood development training modules. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly environment. First aid certification is highly desirable; but training will be provided. Experience in toddler care, and special education is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities.
