Job Description
Are you passionate about creating a positive, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow? What We’re looking for: A dynamic Childcare Director to lead our daycare center and inspire both children and staff! If you’re an experienced leader in early childhood education who loves making a difference, this is the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Do:
Create a fun, safe, and engaging space where children can thrive every day. Lead and coordinate educational programs that meet state and federal requirements. Ensure our center stays fully compliant with all licensing and regulatory standards. Support and develop a fantastic team of teachers through training and professional development. Hire and onboard new staff, making sure they meet all requirements. Keep up to date on the latest childcare standards and best practices. Build meaningful relationships with parents, staff, and the community. Drive the success of the center through marketing and community outreach efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
5 years of experience in early childhood education or childcare management. Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. A warm, approachable personality that fosters trust and collaboration. Knowledge of childcare regulations, especially the Tennessee Department of Human Services Child Care Rules and Regulations.
