The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to educating and caring for children while implementing engaging curriculum activities that align with developmental milestones. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships and ensure a supportive learning environment. Monitor and assess children’s progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations to tailor educational approaches. Provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes child welfare and encourages positive social interactions among peers. Facilitate activities that promote physical education, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development to enhance educational offerings based on best practices in early childhood education, including Montessori methods. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and any incidents or concerns regarding child behavior or welfare. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching strategies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience in childcare or daycare settings is highly desirable.
