We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Club Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while their parents participate in activities. You will play a crucial role in supporting childhood development through interactive play, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in the Kids Club area, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social interaction. Provide care for infants and toddlers, (diaper change by parent and feeding prior to arrival to facility) Foster a positive environment by managing behavior effectively and encouraging cooperation among children. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kids Club area, ensuring all toys and materials are safe and sanitized. Communicate with parents regarding their child’s experience, addressing any concerns or feedback. Stay informed about childhood development practices to enhance the quality of care provided. Requirements Previous experience in babysitting or childcare is preferred. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Familiarity with toddler care and infant care techniques is essential. Understanding of childhood development principles to support children’s growth effectively. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively. First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike. A nurturing attitude with a passion for working with children of various ages. All Kids Klub Attendants are also cross trained to answer phones and work at the front desk.
