Preschool Floater /Teacher Portland Montessori Academy 613 College Street, Portland, TN 37148 We are a Christian, Montessori school in Portland, Tennessee looking to hire a Floater/ Co-Teacher for our preschool department.
Daily job requirements will include:
Lunch Duty Recess Duty Nap Duty Light Cleaning After Care Duty This department currently teaches children ranging from 3- years old to 5- years old. A high school education and previous employment in early childhood education is required. A Montessori Certification, Bachelors Degree, or experience in a Montessori classroom is greatly preferred but is not required. A desire to learn and implement Montessori principals and techniques is a requirement. We are looking for a team member with a positive outlook and a real team spirit that will be willing to come in and make PMA their home and help the students feel that way as well. The Department of Education requires all teachers to pass a Federal Background check and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
