School Age Teacher for Preschool (Summer only) 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Gallatin, TN 37066 Summary This position would be 8-5 Monday through Friday starting June 2 and ending July 30. We are looking for an educator to teach our school age summer class which consists of children ages 5-11. Our school age class takes many field trips so the educator will need to be able to walk with kids several blocks to the library, movie theater, or farmers market. Duties Create and implement lesson plans Stay on top of the classroom schedule Communicate with parents Keep classroom clean and organized Engage with children at all times Create a safe and healthy learning environment Requirements Able to work Monday-Friday on a schedule of 8-5 Have a high school diploma or equivalent Pass a background check Pass a drug test A heart for teaching and making a difference in children’s lives.
