Founded 26 years ago, we are committed to providing excellent care to children six weeks through 12 years of age and have worked hard to develop great relationships with the community we serve. Drop-in child care is different from a traditional daycare setting. We charge an hourly rate, so parents drop their children off whenever they need childcare. We have regulars who come frequently, but there is a different mix of children every day. We are looking for a caring and compassionate Child Care Provider who seeks to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. Nights and weekends availability is a requirement for this job. Previous child care experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Have fun with children! Supervise and interact with children in a fun and compassionate manner Ensure the safety of children at all times Implement creative activities to assist with child development Create a positive and nurturing environment for children Perform a variety of tasks, such as changing diapers, preparing and feeding meals, and overseeing play Check customers in and communicate details about the child’s stay to parents when checking out
Qualifications:
Previous experience with childcare or other related fields preferred Passionate about working with children Ability to build relationships with children and their parents Positive and patient demeanor Comfortable operating a computer and processing credit cards Willingness to work nights and weekends Reliable transportation to and from work
