The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. Your role will involve engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster learning and development. Provide nurturing care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Maintain a clean and organized environment for children to play and learn. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and playtime. Encourage positive social interactions among children to promote teamwork and cooperation. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures. Requirements Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Ability to educate children through engaging activities tailored to their age group. Experience with infant care is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus; certification may be required. Background in early childhood education or caregiving is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike. A patient, nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with children.
