Cook’s UMC Sunday School Teacher (Preschool & Elementary Age)

Juliet TN Hours:
2 hours per week
Compensation:
$20 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Sunday School team as a Teacher for preschool and elementary-age children. This part-time position involves planning and leading engaging, faith-based lessons that are designed to nurture the spiritual growth of children. You will be responsible for delivering lessons, fostering a positive and supportive environment, and ensuring that children have an enjoyable and meaningful experience during this Sunday School class. Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans based on the church’s curriculum and values. Lead Sunday School classes (9:45 – 11:15am each Sunday). Create a safe, weing, and respectful environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and other Sunday School teachers. children explore and Biblical teachings in ways they can understand. Manage classroom behavior effectively, keeping children engaged in learning activities. Qualifications Experience working with children, particularly in an educational or church setting. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage children in a fun and meaningful way. Must be reliable, punctual, andanized. A heart for teaching and sharing the love of God with children. Benefits Flexible work schedule (only Sundays) Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s spiritual lives.
