Early Childhood Teacher 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Addison, VT 05491 Summary The Growing Tree is a new program opening in August. We are seeking a Full-Time Teacher! We will be a Center-based childcare and preschool that serves children aged 32 months through 5 years. We will open with one mixed-age classroom open from 7:30 to 4:30 year-round. Our center is working to be an Act 166 Partner Preschool site. This position is 40 hours per week. Duties Follow CDD Child Care Licensing Regulations Being responsible for the care and supervision of children. Planning, preparing, and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Vermont Early Learning Standards. Maintaining a clean and organized classroom. Complete classroom documentation, TSG assessments, and parent communications. Develop positive relationships with children, co-workers, families, and external personnel. Find Joy in young children! Requirements Have or be in the process of obtaining: At Least an associate?s degree in the Early Childhood Education Field, OR Childcare Development Specialist Certificate (Vermont Childcare Apprenticeship Program), OR, A Child Development Associate credential (CDA), OR Completed at least 12 College Credits in the Early Childhood Education Field And Must pass a criminal background check & fingerprinting through the VT Child Care Development Division Infant/Child First Aid & CPR Certified (or willing to take within 3 months of hiring) Completeed Vermont Orientation, Mandated Reporter, and Medication Administration training. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs at any given time Must be able to play and move around with children in all settings throughout the entire day Must be comfortable and prepared/dressed to go outside with children in all Vermont seasons & weather Benefits Five weeks of paid Time Off Paid Snow Days Annual Raises Childcare Benefit
