Rutland County Early Head Start is now recruitingfor Infant/ Toddler Teachers to join our team of professional earlychildhood educators. In this position you will receive ongoing training,support, and professional development. Positions pay $21 $26.25 perhour depending on credential. Full-time employees receive full benefits,training, and paid time off.
As an Infant / Toddler teacher you will: develop trusting relationshipswith children and families by creating a positive, nurturingenvironment. You will complete behavioral and developmental screeningsand work with child development, mental health, and early interventionexperts to support children and families. Youll plan weekly and dailyclassroom activities that meet the needs of infants/toddlers andfamilies. You will maintain a safe and healthy environment. Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree inEarly Childhood Education, AA degree in a related field with 18 creditsin Early Childhood Education, or a current Infant/Toddler ChildDevelopment Associate Credential (CDA).Additional RequirementsFollow philosophy, policies and procedures of RCHS; and requirements ofthe Head Start Performance Standards, VT Child Care Center Licensing,follow Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework andrelationship-based practices.

Implement research-based curriculum via meaningful, intentional learningexperiences across several domains through differentiated instruction.
Utilize knowledge of childrens interests, learning styles and stages ofdevelopment to create meaningful play and maximize learningopportunities.
Implement research-based assessment practices that guide instruction andmonitor childrens growth and development.
Conduct home visits and family conferences as required.
Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service trainingsduring and after hours, including college-level courses as required.
Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation with personalautomobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandatedby the State of Vermont.•Successful completion of a criminal history background check afterhire.
