The Graduate Theatre Education program in the Performing Arts Department at Emerson College in Boston MA is seeking an instructor for a Developmental Psychology course for the Fall 2025 semester. This introductory course is required for graduate students seeking state licensure to teach theatre in PK-12 schools and should offer essential grounding for their work with youth. Theatre knowledge is helpful but not required as no theatre content is necessary in the course. The course is currently scheduled to meet on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10:45 am, but can be taught online (synchronously or asynchronously) if preferable. The successful candidate will have experience in higher ed teaching. Terminal degree preferred. Compensation is $8,165.00 plus COLA increase to be determined later this summer.
