Job Responsibilities
Carries out all duties and responsibilities of a faculty members teaching Psychology in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. May be required to teach classes at off-campus sites, including high schools. May be required to develop and/or teach courses in multiple delivery methods such as hybrid, online, virtual, and use online platforms to enhance teaching and learning.
Professors currently teach five sections of psychology courses in the Fall, five in the Spring and four in the Summer. Contributes to the college by serving on college and/or department committees. Engages in professional development activities, keeps office hours, submits report of instructional activity and participates in the collection and analysis of data pertaining to student learning outcomes and competencies.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology; or master’s degree in a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology. Preferred Qualifications
PhD or master’s in Psychology with demonstrated experience and expertise in teaching to a diverse and non-traditional two-year college student population is preferred. Employer
