The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering student learning and engagement in a supportive environment. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality Reading instruction, developing curriculum, and assessing student performance. This role is essential in shaping the educational experience and ensuring that students achieve their academic goals. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Deliver instruction in a clear, effective manner, utilizing various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance metrics. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration regarding academic progress and any concerns. Skills A degree from a recognized university is required; advanced degrees are preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and assessment. Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs and learning styles. Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes and classroom management. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
