About the Role You’ll teach two mixed-grade classes focused on reading and math, with a maximum of 12 students per group. This is a unique opportunity to provide individualized instruction, build meaningful relationships, and teach in a setting where your voice matters. Teach reading and math to K-5 students in small, multi-age groups Use your creativity and flexibility to meet students where they are Work in a warm, student-centered environment that values connection and curiosity Collaborate with a team that believes in whole-child learning What We’re Looking For A bachelor’s degree – required Teaching experience preferred A love for working with elementary-age children A calm, patient, and flexible teaching style Someone who values community, creativity, and student voice Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners. Educate students in core subjects of Math and Literacy, ensuring comprehension and retention of material. Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a respectful and productive learning environment. Utilize best practices for working with students with autism and other special needs to ensure inclusive education.
