Position Summary:

The

• HSE and Literacy Instructor
• is responsible for providing high-quality instruction to adult learners in
• High School Equivalency (HSE) and Literacy
• courses. The instructor will design and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans that align with
• NCCC Adult Education Standards
• and use
• student performance data
• to guide instruction. This position requires effective communication and relationship management with
• partner locations, faculty, staff, and students
• to support learning and student success inside and outside the classroom

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in

• Education, English, Mathematics, Science, History, Adult Education, or a related field

• teaching adult learners
• and an understanding of

• .Familiarity with
• High School Equivalency (HSE) instruction
• and best practices for preparing students for
• GED/HiSET
• exams.

Experience in
