Job Description
Reading Interventionist Ragin Preparatory Christian Academy Little Lambs Sumter, SC 29150 Summary We are seeking a passionate Reading Interventionist to join our education team, dedicated to improving reading proficiency among students. The Reading Interventionist will work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to provide targeted support for students struggling with literacy skills. This role involves assessing individual reading levels, developing personalized intervention plans, and implementing research-based instructional strategies to foster reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary developmen Duties Conduct reading assessments and analyze data to identify students in need of additional support. Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate support within the general curriculum. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data and performance. Engage with families to provide resources and strategies for supporting reading at home Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education, Literacy, or a related field (Master?s preferred). Experience with reading instruction and intervention, particularly in K-8 settings. Strong knowledge of literacy intervention techniques and reading assessment tools.
