Reading and Language Arts Focus Overview:
The High school Language Arts teacher will provide high quality academic instruction in the subject area of reading and language arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed lesson plans across core subject areas.
- Deliver engaging instruction and assess student progress.
- Track and monitor student progress through data collection.
- Anticipate and address academic and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with the administrative team, parents, and teachers to develop strategies that support student success
- Other duties as assigned by administration
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year school
- Complete an approved educator preparation program
- Pass the required certification tests
- Acquire a proper Tennessee teaching license.
Salary Range:
Full-time $45-55K This position is a full-time teaching position in a private Christian school that serves inner-city children with a quality academic and Christ-centered education. We have small class sizes and a supportive administration.
