JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Health Policy and Administration (HPA) in the College of Health and Human Development seeks applicants for an adjunct instructor to teach special topics focused on Health Care Ethics. Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree (Doctoral Degree preferred) in health management, health policy, nursing, economics, public health, social work, or a related field. The candidate(s) must have in-person teaching experience with online teaching experience desirable. Professional experience or background in healthcare is desired. The candidate(s) must have the ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty and staff. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position(s) is filled. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
