  • – Appropriate and current Arkansas Department of Education Computer Science teaching licensure
  • Residency Requirement:
  • – Must reside in ArkansasThe remote High School CTE Computer Science Teacher is state certifiedteacher and/or alternatively certified CRE/CTE Teacher responsible fordelivering specific course content in an on-line environment.

TheCRE/CTE Teacher must also be a provide instruction, support, andguidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’individual needs. Teachers monitor student progress through K12’slearning management system, and work actively with students and parentsto advance each students learning and to develop and monitor a plan forpost-secondary success via online tools like Career Builder, CareerCruising, etc.

This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional homeoffice without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or asdefined by the school.

  • MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree ANDActive state teaching license ANDAbility to clear required background check
  • OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret andproduce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data,and use it to drive instructional decisions.

Receptive to receiving coaching regularly with administrators andteacher trainers.

Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent studentoutcomes.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.

Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teachingplatforms.

Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hoursand fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum.
