POSITION SUMMARY :
Southeastern University invites applications and nominations for an Adjunct Professor qualified to teach undergraduate courses in science. Candidates with a graduate degree in the field of natural science or at least 18 graduate hours in this area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Teach First Year in science and other related courses Prepare/deliver lectures and grade assignments, primarily (but not exclusively) lectures and assignments. Respond to student e-mails and phone calls. Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
: Earned an M.A. or Ph.D. in a natural science or related field. Outstanding Christian character Positive recommendations from previous employers Evidence of successful experience teaching and mentoring at the collegiate level Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
