Grade Inclusion Math and Science Teacher:
This position is for the 25-26 instructional calendar and starts July 31, 2025. We are seeking a teacher that is proficient in teaching Algebra, Geometry, Biology and other Science classes. Our teachers are hands on and holistic-meaning we need you to bring math and science to life for our students! Science experiments, fun videos, real books and no electronic devices. The ideal candidate must be able to differentiate instruction and work with students that have learning disorders, ADHD and high functioning autism (no major behavioral issues). Certification not required but two years teaching experience is required. Additionally, we are a faith based Christian non profit organization and school. We pray with our students daily and incorporate our Christian faith in all that we do. Please note, we offer no medical or dental benefits but do offer paid time off, small class sizes and a supportive work environment.

Minimum Requirements:
Baccalaureate Degree (BA or BS) or higher (not preferred but will consider three or more years of verifiable K-12 public and/or private school teaching experience that is on letterhead and signed by the school taught at. Must have experience working with students diagnosed with learning disabilities, ADHD and/ or high functioning autism. Must pass a Level 2 Background screening & any of DOE requirements to be eligible for this position (this is not an offer of employment).
Duties are as follows:
Plan, prepare and deliver lesson hands on, holistic lesson plans as per company standards. Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction. Manage student behavior in the classroom or ask for assistance when needed. Maintain discipline per our company policies. Provide appropriate feedback on work. Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development. Update all necessary records accurately and completely through HARTS student information system as per company policy. Prepare required reports on students and activities. Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs to the lead teacher or administration. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Prepare classroom for class activities. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities. Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development. Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments. Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds. Participate in required professional training. Follow all employee policies and procedures. Enforcing/Following academic policies and procedures. Performing assigned non-instructional classroom duties, such as cleaning/disinfecting of classroom and bathrooms, recess. This can be accomplished by assisting students in daily chores (including cleaning and disinfection). Maintaining a positive attitude while on property as an example to the students. Demonstrate ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in the academic environment and community. Maintain a safe working environment and encourages colleagues to be safety minded in the performance of all. Be willing and cooperative when requested to perform other duties/assignments as directed by the admin staff. Follow proper procedure, as outlined in the employee handbook, in the event of a conflict between staff members academic-related duties.
