Job Summary The Lower School at Gulliver Prep is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lower School Science Faculty for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of science standards and will promote and nurture science education by planning and delivering inquiry-based, hands-on units of study. Candidates will be expected to collaborate with others in the department as well as with colleagues across the division. Experience with Responsive Classroom and teaching in a 1:1 technology environment is preferred, and a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and professional development is expected. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education or related field. Master’s degree preferred. At least two years of teaching experience at the primary-aged and/or elementary level Desired Qualifications Effective classroom management skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Pre-Employment Requirements Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s) and Drug Screen.
