The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, engaging students in the curriculum, and promoting academic success. This role requires a strong commitment to student development and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Provide academic advising and support to students, helping them set and achieve educational goals. Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback. Facilitate tutoring sessions for students needing additional assistance in subjects such as Math and Creative Writing. Engage in proofreading and copy editing of student assignments to enhance their writing skills. Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall educational experience. Experience Proven experience working with students in an educational setting is essential. Background in Higher Education Teaching is preferred but not mandatory. Strong skills in Academic Advising, Tutoring, and Standardized Testing are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with students and parents. Experience in Creative Writing, Math instruction, Proofreading, and Copy Editing will be considered an asset.
