Part-Time Science Teacher (Contractor) – Middle and High School Generations Christian Homeschool Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 Part-Time Science Teacher (Contractor) – Middle and High School Generations Christian Homeschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Science Teacher on a contract basis to inspire our middle and high school students (grades 6-12) with a love for scientific inquiry and understanding. As a vital member of our instructional team, you will play a key role in shaping the academic and spiritual growth of our students within a supportive Christian environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate science lessons and activities aligned with established curriculum standards. Teach a variety of science subjects, potentially including but not limited to general science, biology, chemistry, and physics, depending on the school’s needs and your expertise. Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Integrate Christian faith-based perspectives into science instruction where appropriate and relevant, promoting a biblical worldview. Assess student learning through various methods, including homework assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, and class participation. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades as required. Collaborate effectively with other teachers, staff, and administration to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for students. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns. Supervise students in the classroom and during school-related activities. Adhere to all school policies and procedures. Maintain a commitment to professional growth and development in science education and Christian pedagogy. Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling to meet the needs of the school.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related science field. Valid teaching certification/license (preferred, but may consider candidates with relevant experience). Experience teaching science at the middle and/or high school level is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of scientific principles and concepts across various disciplines. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. A genuine commitment to Christian education and the mission of Generations Christian Homeschool. Demonstrated ability to integrate faith and learning. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with potential variations in hours as needed.

Work Schedule:

Part-time contract position.

Workdays:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Hours:

Flexible, depending on class schedules and school needs.
