- 6:00 PM Job Summary STEAM Inventors is hiring an energetic, theatrical, and reliable Nutty Scientists Teacher to deliver exciting, hands-on science workshops to children aged 4-12.
From lava lamps to balloon-powered cars, you’ll spark curiosity and make science unforgettable — all while leading fun, interactive sessions using our proven curriculum. Perfect for college students, afterschool educators, or anyone who loves science, performing, and working with kids!
Schedule Primary hours:
Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM
- 6:00 PM Occasional weekend or morning sessions (optional, during summer camps or events) Flexible part-time schedule (8-15 hours/week) Responsibilities Lead hands-on science experiments in schools, camps, or events Teach from provided Nutty Scientists curriculum (training included) Engage kids with performance-style delivery and storytelling Transport basic materials to and from sessions Ensure student safety and positive group dynamics Represent STEAM Inventors with professionalism and enthusiasm
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED Experience working with children (camps, teaching, childcare, etc.) Available between 2:00 PM
- 6:00 PM on weekdays Reliable transportation Able to pass a background check
Preferred:
