S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) G-3/5/7, Faculty and Staff Development Branch (FSDB) at Fort Eisenhower (FE), Georgia.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruct, prepare, review, provide curriculum development support, and update program documentation in support of all CCoE, FSDB Courses. Provide approved instruction to all required FSDB courses. Perform classroom instruction and maintain instructor certification (in accordance with Army and Ft Eisenhower instructor certification & evaluation criteria) to instruct various FSDB courses and evaluate student performances using TRADOC-approved Instructional methodology to include 350-2 (Staff and Faculty Development Training), 350-5 (Ft Eisenhower Academic Practices), 350-22 (Test Control Policies and Procedures). Policies may be included in the Faculty and Staff Development Branch SOP. The contractor shall serve as an assistant or primary instructor. Collaborate with current government personnel to establish acceptable instructor practices and student evaluation criteria. Stay current with required industry certifications and provide a copy of certifications to the COR. Manage and maintain accountability of the classroom presentation equipment and classroom furniture as prescribed in TRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-4, FE policies, and/or local SOP e.g. identify furniture or equipment issues and report them to proper personnel. All equipment issues will be reported to the COR or as soon as identified. Maintain established classroom security requirements and procedures as prescribed in TRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-4, FE policies, and/or local SOP. All issues will be reported to the COR as soon as identified. Install and/or operate classroom control software on classroom IT equipment. Stand, bend and stoop for long periods of time, while delivering and assisting students with training materials. Conduct training indoors. Provide students with evaluation sheets, administer and enforce test control standards, and conduct testing in subjects taught, to include grading of exams, evaluation of results, recording of exam result, and administer student critiques for courses. Perform Closeout Management Activities – Maintain and report student attendance, records, and statistics as prescribed in TRADOC (TR) Pamphlet 350-70-14, TR-350-18, FE policies, and/or local SOP. Evaluate students and report academic concerns to the COR when warranted by classroom performance, e.g. academic test failure, excessive absences, etc. Attend In-Progress Reviews. The contractor shall participate in IPRs, the frequency and scope of which shall be determined at the Post Award Meeting chaired by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Recommendation for Curriculum Changes. Provide recommendations to support modifications to lesson plans, student handouts, slides and practical exercises due to changing technology, changes in training requirements or critical tasks selection site boards (CTSSBs). All curriculum updates need to be written in the end of course critique report 10 days after end of course. Any approved recommendations must be completed NLT 10 days before incorporating the changes in the course. All lesson plans and student materials must be provided in paper copy for review. Prepare Course Instruction. The contract instructor/facilitator shall be required to assist with preparing for a course by compiling course materials, equipment, and classroom setup. Prepare and submit contractor progress report-detailing expenditures, percentage of work completed, status of deliverables, project status, problems encountered, measurement of achievements, actions taken to correct deficiencies, work remaining and evaluation. Prepare and submit a Period of Performance Historical Report (Annually) – Must be submitted NLT thirty (30) days after a contract period of performance. Conduct Classroom Training and Evaluations. o Instruct/facilitate classes and evaluate student performance. o Instructors/Facilitators shall collaborate with government personnel to establish a productive student centric learning environment for all courses taught within the staff and faculty development section. Conduct peer to peer evaluations as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Have completed the current foundational CAC-T, ATSC-provided instructor/facilitator and small group instructor/facilitator approved courses within the last 3 years from any Armed Forces command. Be certified in assigned Faculty and Staff Development Branch courses within 6 months from date of onboard. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software products (i.e. computer, smart boards, projectors, etc). Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an ability to read, write, speak and understand English
EXPERIENCE
Have at least 1 year experience on the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) Process or Kirkpatrick’s Model or Bloom’s Taxonomy Have at least 1 year of experience with Army Learning Model concepts or instructional methods and various media incorporated to enhance learning. Have at least 1 year of experience with Experiential Learning Model or educational process.

EDUCATION
Possess at least 2 years of Military platform (instruction/facilitation) experience within the last 5 years or 2 years instructing full-length instructional training material or courses related to training and education, or a bachelor’s degree; Preferred degrees include: education, and instructional design.
