Job Summary:

Sunbelt Staffingis seekingqualified and enthusiastic Science Teachers to provide engaging, inquiry-based instruction in the sciences. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, promote scientific thinking, and help students develop a strong foundation in science through hands-on and standards-aligned learning experiences.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Louisiana Department of Education teaching certification Strong knowledge of science content and effective instructional practices at a high school level.

Responsibilities:

Teach science aligned with Louisiana Student Standards, including topics such as life science, physical science, earth science, and/or environmental science depending on grade level. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and lab activities that support diverse learners. Use data and assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and share best practices. Communicate regularly with families and participate in school meetings and events.

Preferred Qualifications:
