The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subjects such as Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Algebra, and Discrete Math. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and academic success. The teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing support to enhance students’ understanding of complex scientific and mathematical concepts. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in subjects including Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Algebra, and Discrete Math. Educate students through innovative teaching methods that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation. Assess student performance through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development. Utilize laboratory resources effectively to enhance practical learning experiences in scientific subjects. Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate library services into the curriculum for research and study purposes. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Skills Strong knowledge of Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Algebra, and Discrete Math. Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to high school students. Ability to educate diverse learners with varying levels of understanding in a classroom setting. Proficient in managing classroom dynamics to foster an inclusive learning environment. Experience in utilizing laboratory equipment and conducting experiments safely and effectively. Familiarity with library services to assist students in research projects and independent studies. Strong organizational skills to maintain lesson plans, student records, and classroom materials.
