Depending on candidate background and experience, positions may be available at both the middle and high school level. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in education is required. Special education certification or experience is a big plus, though not required. A background working with students with learning challenges and a solid ability to effectively differentiate instruction is a must. Fletcher is a small school with a very favorable average student to teacher ratio, offering very small class sizes of up to 10 students. We DO NOT specialize in serving students with behavior disorders; instead, our students struggle with a host of learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other learning challenges.
