Science Teacher Scio CSD Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various scientific disciplines, including organic chemistry and mathematics, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching students at different levels, developing engaging lesson plans, and encouraging scientific inquiry and critical thinking. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in science and mathematics. Teach subjects including organic chemistry, algebra, trigonometry, and other relevant scientific topics. Facilitate hands-on experiments and scientific research projects to enhance student understanding of theoretical concepts. Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic goals. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate library services and resources into the curriculum. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback. Engage with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Strong knowledge of organic chemistry, algebra, trigonometry, differential equations, and scientific research methodologies. Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with private school environments is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
