Full-time Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teach Biology at the high school level Design innovative, engaging, and differentiated high school lessons Plan assignments and curriculum in collaboration with science teachers and other departments Work one-on-one with students daily for support and enrichment Complete administrative and supervisory duties as assigned Support the mission of Cardinal Hayes High School Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or in Education required; graduate degree preferred State teaching certification in the relevant field preferred Experience working with high school students preferred Strong classroom management abilities Ability to work productively and collaboratively with a diverse faculty and student body A belief that all students can succeed Open-minded, flexible, and adaptable Excellent oral and written communication skills Bilingual preferred, but not required
